For the purposes of ensuring security and maintaining proper operations, FEN EĞİTİM KURUMLARI A.Ş. conducts surveillance activities using security cameras within and around school buildings and facilities (both interior and exterior), and monitors visitor entries and exits. These activities are carried out in compliance with the Constitution, the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), and other relevant legislation.
Through the camera monitoring systems installed at building entrances and inside the facilities, visual recordings of our visitors are captured and processed with the aim of ensuring reliability, improving service quality, and safeguarding the safety of all visitors and other individuals.
The recorded footage, which is stored digitally, is accessible only by a limited number of authorized FEN EĞİTİM KURUMLARI A.Ş. employees, who are bound by confidentiality agreements and commit to protecting the privacy of any data they access.
Live camera footage may be monitored by outsourced security personnel. In accordance with Article 12 of the KVKK, all necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to ensure the security of personal data obtained through video surveillance activities.
The security cameras installed for the protection of buildings/facilities and individuals operate lawfully and in compliance with the Law on Private Security Services and relevant legislation. Personal data is processed during visitor entry-exit procedures. Under no circumstances are privacy-invasive areas (e.g., restrooms) monitored, and the use of cameras strictly serves security purposes only.
Data subjects are informed about this processing activity in accordance with Article 10 of the KVKK by the data controller or an authorized individual. Signs and written notices are posted throughout the facility or made accessible to ensure that visitors are properly informed.
In accordance with Article 12 of the KVKK, all necessary technical and administrative safeguards are implemented to ensure the security of personal data collected through camera surveillance. These records are retained for the duration legally required and in accordance with their purpose. Access to or viewing of these records is strictly limited to designated Company employees bound by confidentiality, and such data is stored within a physical data recording system.
As FEN EĞİTİM KURUMLARI A.Ş., the names and surnames of visitors entering our facilities may be recorded both for security purposes and to comply with the policies and procedures of our institution. These personal data are processed and protected in compliance with the Law. Visitors are informed of this processing via written notices posted in visible areas or otherwise made accessible within the premises.
The personal data collected for visitor tracking purposes are used solely for that purpose and are stored physically in a data recording system.
