Fen Schools’ approach to primary and secondary education focuses on raising students—young leaders—who are aware of their role both in the society they live in and in the wider world.
Through experiential and active learning, we aim for our students to be successful in these roles in the 21st century. Many of the skills they will need lie within academic competencies, and we challenge our students accordingly within the classroom environment. At the same time, education has a supportive aspect: teamwork, creative problem-solving processes, independent thinking, and kindness. We believe that by offering students a wide range of academic and extracurricular experiences, we will help them discover new areas of interest and, through a rewarding and intense journey, transform their passions into skills.
As a result, on these pages you will witness our students’ many experiences and achievements—from musicals to the Junior Model United Nations, from international trips to basketball tournament finals, from science festivals to the San Remo Music Competition. You will also see how we keep our extended community connected—parents, alumni, and others—by maintaining and strengthening their bond with Fen Schools.
