Dear Parents,
I would like to begin by expressing the pride and joy I feel as a teacher and administrator at FEN Schools, a shining star in Turkey. Your most precious treasures, entrusted to us with confidence, spend their days with us, sharing most of their time in our care. Our goal is to make them love school from the very first day and ensure they build lasting friendships in a safe environment where they spend such a significant part of their day.
Through our work at FEN Schools, we provide them with the keys to accessing knowledge. We want them to be able to filter and analyze information, to question events they encounter, and to understand that the power they will need in life lies in knowledge.
Our students know that education is a lifelong journey, and the more they learn, the more they will realize how little they know. They will understand that those who write history are people who think differently. We must raise their awareness to accept differences, encourage them to reveal their talents, teach them that evil may exist in life but goodness will ultimately prevail, and inspire them with hope. We must teach them never to submit to injustice, to respect humility, and to understand that sharing is superior to jealousy. We must guide them to share the pain of strangers, protect nature as the trust of future generations, overcome fears, learn courage, and value solidarity so they can recognize that many others live in this country and in the world. They must learn to love others, forgive mistakes, and embrace loyalty and flexibility.
As our great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk once said, “The assurance of the future is an education based on solid foundations, and education depends on teachers.”
As FEN Kindergarten teachers, we aim to secure the future of our country through an education built on solid foundations, just as Atatürk envisioned. We will take the first steps hand in hand with our students.
